Public Pitch: Education Made Simple

2025-03-14 18:00
Friends, it’s time to sketch the picture of what I’m going to present to the world in the next few years. Edutainment study and learn b2c(reator) / b2b no-code saas AI featured platform. Hard, right? Yeah, there aren’t any normal words for this yet, so bear with me.

My first project — evahelp.ai — is an attempt to help teachers with the endless and repetitive questions they get from students during their educational activities. I considered this first attempt successful only after a year and a half, when we finally compiled the data, which showed a 21% organic reduction in support requests at one of our first clients, who rapidly and vigorously rolled out our beloved solution within their popular online school with an impeccable reputation. That was a big step for us. I wrote my first article about it on vc.ru as confirmation. That confirmation was just the beginning, but we’re not here to talk about that.

In the summer of 2024, I launched my second project — auch.app — an app for listening to Telegram channels inside Telegram itself, say, while you’re driving (hypothetically). I’ve been collecting, I’d say “collecting,” the coolest people who do truly amazing things and write excellent content that has been enhancing and boosting me like crazy. Even though kyrillic says that all Telegram channels are really, really local, a phenomenon of the Russian-speaking community, it doesn’t bother me one bit. As long as there are long, meaningful, and interesting articles from interesting and smart people in Telegram (or anywhere), I’ll keep converting them into audio, because that’s the most digestible and creative way for me to consume content. Creative consumption is a state where I can slowly listen to the reasoning of smart people and immediately make dozens of conclusions for my own actions, whether in daily work or not-so-daily work. Reading material — for me, still the fastest way to consume, but speed has long ceased to interest me. What interests me now is the speed of action. That’s why, after the first three months of launching our raw app version, when I received my first payment from a link placed here — that was pure joy. You can read my post about it — my emotions were backed by some painful changes within the team.

Having slightly revealed how I view my second project, I want to emphasize one important connection between them — the educational element. I believe that people, deep inside, want to learn and do something really valuable for themselves, even if they don’t fully realize it. We’re not going to consider humanity’s destructive programs for now — I’ll save that for my third project (shoutout to Arkady Moreinis). At the very least, I’m living proof of this idea. Having created both projects, I now realize: the core request was the same — to grow myself and help others grow.

So, it’s clear why schools sell their courses, but why do teachers teach? That’s much more interesting. I love blending a lot of concepts into one thing and then unraveling it like a web, back and forth, endlessly, so here you go. Right now, for me, the essence of “teacher” is a collective image of everything mentioned — teacher, mentor, coach, trainer, psychologist, instructor, lecturer, seminar leader, inspirer, butt-insertion expert, business info-man, and, eventually, mom or dad (okay, let’s not mix them in, but maybe just a little). So, I believe that by keeping this image of the teacher in mind (first in my head, then in yours), I can build a product where students will continue consuming the content they like, from people they like, in ways they like, on platforms they like (hello to all level 2 projects built on top of existing giants — from Chrome extensions and Discord plugins to apps within apps). Teachers will just focus their students’ attention on listening to lectures and solving homework.

Now, I’m not concerned with the survival of teachers, their deep motivation for choosing this profession, or why they care or don’t care about their students. I couldn’t care less. Again, I believe (and when it comes to faith, you can’t really argue, that’s why I like it, unlike some “truth”) that around this collective image of the teacher, I will be able to build a product where students continue to consume the content they enjoy from the people they enjoy, in ways they enjoy, on platforms they enjoy.

So what’s the pitch? The pitch is about how modern products will actually be built, having to break through existing invincible ecosystems, simply, while solving the one most important business task. In our case — to build a path from the sincere intention to learn to the sincere intention to teach.

Millions of audiences where there’s entertainment. The diamonds of society where entertainment turns into a natural and conscious search for and satisfaction of one’s own interest. The issue of authenticity will intensify — the issue of whether AI can do better than a human, whether AI can replace a human, whether AI is everything, but also nothing at the same time. And the only possible solution to the authenticity problem will still be — people, as it always has been. People who know how to sell themselves and attract an audience, people who can truly present and bring something valuable into this world. The decor and complexity (for each generation in its own way) of solving this problem will change, but the result will remain the same — a person will present themselves to another person.

So, in the next two years, I’ll build a strong union of interests between the student and the teacher in a product, where students will continue consuming content they like in the Telegram app, while teachers will deliver their lectures, quizzes, tests, and homework through their AI avatars, which they’re already creating on our evahelp.ai platform (with some advertising, of course). Then I’ll repeat this exercise, but not for the Telegram + CIS / MENA connection, but for the L2 projects + World connection. As for specific features… I don’t want to say, folks, just test the existing products and dream a little (be sure to share your fantasies with me!). In auchappbot.t.me we’ve given you free access to content from Telegram that I’ve personally selected and sorted into folders (business, technology, career, marketing, psychology, education, sales, etc.), and I hope soon we’ll be able to let you add your own channels as well.

If you’re still feeling a bit confused — that’s normal, and maybe even good. If you have any questions/suggestions, hit me up on Telegram strikanov.t.me or email me at vstrikanov@gmail.com
